GEZE Türkiye is now a BuildingSMART Türkiye Silver member!

A large group of contractors, consultants, software industry representatives and academicians who came together at meetings, seminars and conferences on BIM in Turkiye agreed that a focus should be created on this issue and decided that the most appropriate step for this in our country would be to establish a branch under the roof of buildingSMART, which pioneers this digital transformation in the construction sector worldwide. buildingSMART Turkiye which we aim to establish as a focus that develops, supports and disseminates the digitalization experienced in our sector under the name of BIM, coincides with the vision of Turkiye IMSAD, “To be the driving force of the Turkish construction industry, to grow the whole, to add value to the sector and companies in the establishment and implementation of rules” and therefore with the mission of “To create the highest value for all stakeholders with a solution-oriented management approach in the representation of the Turkish construction materials industry…”

Among the activities of buildingSMART Turkiye are to ensure the formation of regulatory and supervisory rules in the areas where the sector operates, to be an information center for the sector and to work on common issues for all companies to develop.

With over 400 members, the buildingSMART Turkiye Working Group has been carrying out studies and organizing meetings since 2017 to spread BIM applications in the sector, hosted by Turkiye IMSAD, the umbrella organization of the construction material industry.
